What I do at Fishhook?

Communications Strategist – I serve as a liaison between our clients and our talented team of designers, technicians and creative geniuses. Every now and then I get to put my love of writing to work.

Why I work here?

People are bombarded with companies trying to convince them that their lives are incomplete. “You need our product to fulfill you.” I’ve personally experienced a life that is ONLY complete through the love of Christ . . . only He can fulfill me. So I work at Fishhook to help ministries compete against all those other messages so the message of ultimate fulfillment can be heard loudly and clearly.

What I did before Fishhook?

Seven years as Director of Communications and Member Ministry for Traders Point Christian Church. Prior to that, five years as Regional Director of the American Diabetes Association.

Home, family, pets?

Husband, Matt – Lead Pastor of The Pursuit Christian Church; son – Chase Gehrig; dog – Jeter; and a lanai full of lizards.

My home church?

The Pursuit Christian Church, Pembroke Pines, Fla.

Favorite indulgence food?

Captain Crunchberries – had it for dinner tonight!
