“Monster.com”-ing for Volunteers

Many times we take a monster.com approach to recruiting volunteers for ministry: throw the request out there in the Sunday program, a mass email and maybe a pulpit announcement and pray the right people are listening and respond.
In this month’s Fresh Catch video, Evan McBroom challenges us to take another approach … a one-on-one investment of time into the people we want to recruit.
Watch the video and pray for God to open your eyes to opportunities like the ones Evan describes.

Thanks, Evan, for this challenge and encouragement! An important and relevant reminder for all of us who are trying to do more with less in these tough times.

Kevin – yes, its likely that as resources may feel/be tighter, enlisting new people to the team is critical! Go Kevin!

Thanks for the insight, Evan. I agree… this is the approach I’m trying to take in my new SATC responsibilities.
