Not that we've given up on face-to-face communications, print or other important mediums. They are key, but we also know that more and more opportunities are emerging online.

I was recently introduced as the newest member of the Fishhook team (learn more here). I am Fishhook's Online Engagement Strategist - a new position for our team.

You might be thinking, "what the heck is that?" Please read on ...

How we communicate with one another is constantly changing.

Our goal is to find a better way to communicate with each of you - online. And then to help you - our church and ministry friends and clients - find new and emerging strategies for connecting with your key audiences online as well. (Not that we've given up on face-to-face communications, print or other important mediums. They are key, but we also know that more and more opportunities are emerging online.)

The world around us is rapidly becoming a society of online connections and relationships, and we want to meet you there.

in the coming months, we will be launching a new online outreach program that will aim to send more content your way. This is not meant to overwhelm your inbox, cram your newsfeed or interrupt your life. When you have questions or need some communication motivation, we simply want you to have a place to find it.

Whether you are a pastor, communications director, graphic designer, administrative assistant, lay leader or serve in some other capacity, our goal is to give you the information you need - when you need it - to be a successful communicator.

And again, not only are we passionate about connecting with you online, but we want to help you discover how to develop an online relationship with those in your congregation and your community. (This could include folks in your local community/city, across the country or globally.)

We are expanding our online presence on a daily basis and would love for you to be part of that.
